About Assam Sanskrit Board (ASB)
The Assam Sanskrit Board (ASB) is an educational board established for conducting examinations at the Secondary and Senior Secondary stages, prescribing courses of study and syllabi, and carrying out such academic objectives and duties as provided under the applicable Acts, Rules and Regulations of the Board.
The Board works towards promoting and facilitating secondary and senior secondary education, particularly for learners who may face social, educational, economic, geographical or other disadvantages and who may not be able to pursue education through the regular system.
The Assam Sanskrit Board conducts examinations in accordance with the courses and syllabi prescribed by the competent authority. It also undertakes academic and administrative activities related to examinations, curriculum development, assessment and issuance of academic credentials, subject to applicable rules and regulations.
